ITdropshop is a global platform that connects users with local IT shops. It allows you to buy and sell your smart technology all in one platform. Starting from an idea, we designed and developed an app that helps tech stores to reach their local customers.

idea
Going from app idea to a successful Launch. As a group with a strong understanding of who they are and what they stand for, our ultimate goal was to implement a system for local tech stores to manage their online sales and services while increasing their market presence.

challenge
ITdropshop was looking to quickly enter the market during pandemic lockdown with limited resources available. We started ITdropshop with one ambition: to help small businesses to reach their local customers. For some time, we’d been consulting tech stores on simplifying their online sales and began to notice something. On the digital marketplace, there is a lack of communication between tech stores and customers. With ITdropshop, we wanted to challenge that – to prove that there was a simpler way of connecting businesses with local customers.

solution
A comprehensive market research approach was developed by our team. Primary research was conducted with both customers and tech stores simultaneously, which enabled us to identify ITdropshop core value for the market. After a series of strategy and prototyping sessions, we created a standardized design system they can use across all their digital products such as brand, product packaging, website and ordering experience.
Having analyzed all the data, we developed a feature-rich mobile application and website that is equipped with powerful features:

- Appointment booking portal for tech repair services
- An evolving digital platform that can accommodate new features
